Native for Apple platforms
Your semester, already set up.
Coursva keeps every course, deadline, class, and grade in one place — and fills the term in for you. Paste your timetable, drop in a syllabus, and the schedule, the assignments, and the weights are already there.

Setup
You already have the schedule. Stop retyping it.
The reason a general notes app never sticks for school is that you have to build it every August. Coursva reads what your school already gave you — paste the timetable off the portal, or hand it the syllabus.
Evaluation Problem sets (8) ......... 20% due weekly, Fridays Midterm exam ............ 25% Oct 17, in class Lab reports (5) ......... 20% Sep 26, Oct 10, Oct 31, Nov 14, Nov 28 Final exam ............. 35% during exam period
Timetable paste
Copy the block off your school’s portal. Coursva works out the courses, rooms, days, and the weeks each one actually runs.
Spreadsheets
Import from .xlsx and .csv, and export the whole archive back out. Nothing is trapped in the app.
Term calendar
Reading weeks, holidays, and the odd “Tuesday runs on a Monday schedule” day — handled as substitutions, not as blank gaps.
Repeating work
Weekly readings and lab reports are one entry. Edit a single occurrence — a moved date, a one-off room — without touching the rest.
Grades
The only grade question worth answering.
Not “what’s my average” — you can work that out. The one you actually ask at 11pm in November is what you need on the thing you haven’t written yet.
What do I need on the final to finish with an A−?
Every term you’ve finished stays in the archive — courses, grades, and credits — so the trend keeps going even after a program change.
Focus
Sit with it, and something grows.
Start a session against a course and a tree grows for as long as you stay with it. Leave early and it withers — it stays in your forest that way, which turns out to be a more honest record than a streak counter.
Nine species to grow
- Oak
- Maple
- Sakura
- Birch
- Pine
- Willow
- Palm
- Bonsai
- Saguaro
The timer runs as a Live Activity, so it’s on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island without the app open. Finished sessions log against the course, and turn into the hours you actually put in this term.
On every screen you own
One app, written for each platform rather than shipped to it.
Home screen widgets
What’s next, what’s due, and how the day looks — on iPhone, iPad, and the Mac desktop.
Watch and complications
Your next class on the watch face, and the focus timer on your wrist.
Real Mac app
A proper sidebar, keyboard navigation, and a full seven-column week grid on a big screen.
Apple Calendar
Classes and deadlines sync into a calendar you choose, in a format you control.
Your data
No account. No server.
Coursva opens straight into the app. There’s nothing to sign up for, because there’s nowhere for your coursework to go.
- Storage
- On your device. Your courses, grades, and notes live in the app’s own database and nowhere else.
- Sync
- Your iCloud, optional. Turn it on and your devices stay in step through your own Apple account — not through us.
- Accounts
- None. No email, no password, no profile. Nothing to breach.
- Getting out
- Whenever you want. Full backup and restore, spreadsheet export, and printable term summaries.
- Deleting
- Reversible. Trash holds deleted courses, terms, assignments, and grades — a restored course brings its whole history back with it.
- Languages
- English and French. Fully translated, in Quebec vocabulary — session, plan de cours, travail, local.
Coming to the App Store
Set up the term once. Then just use it.
Coursva is in the last stretch before release. Leave your email and I’ll tell you the day it’s out — nothing else, ever.
